Message of Hon’ble President and Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on the occasion of Teacher’s Day 2016

Kendriya Vidyalaya Srikakulam came into existence in 1994.It is a Civil Sector School and the Chairman is the District Collector, Sri P.Laxminarasimham (IAS). At present it has a strength of approximately 37 teachers (Permanent & Contractual) and 881 students. It is a three-sections School for Class I and two-section School from Class II to  X, one section in Class XI and Class XII.

KV Srikakulam aims at moulding the students into all-rounders along with imparting quality education and preparing them to be model citizens by conducting Co-curricular Activities every week. In the process, they imbibe life skills which will help them to fulfil futuristic societal, national and global needs and aspirations. The School is located in a sprawling campus of 15 acres. There is a lot of greeenary and many facilities for the students like two computer labs,three science labs, a library,  indoor and outdoor play grounds, A.V. Room and 21 Staff Quarters. The  School follows the CBSE pattern of Education under which the students  are  evaluated continously, that is, under Continous Comprehensive Evaluation.
